A Woman’s Heart. A Journey Through Opera Arias

On International Women’s Day, soprano Carolina Kaya, pianist Julia Sigova, and cellist Petronella Torin invite you to a unique and deeply moving concert where classical music becomes a pathway into a woman’s inner world.
Through some of the most beloved arias from the Baroque and Classical periods, the audience is guided on a journey through the first light of love, the gentle strength of motherhood, the sharp edges of betrayal, and the quiet of sorrow, leading toward a powerful rebirth: joy, will, and life.

On the walls, we encounter artworks by Marita Hinnsell, whose paintings seek stillness, balance, and presence under the theme A Woman’s Heart. This becomes a meeting between narrative, music, and visual art.
Marita’s paintings carry a feminine calm and a warm, attentive presence, inviting the viewer to pause, breathe, and perhaps come a little closer to themselves.

Carolina Kaya is a classical singer, coach, and founder of Wild & Holistic. Through a unique combination of musical presence and a holistic approach, she allows the voice to become a pathway to self love, healing, and grounding in the present moment.

Julia Sigova has been praised by the renowned magazine International Piano (August 2019) for “an imaginative program, brilliantly executed.” She is a pianist widely recognized for her powerful performances, poetic interpretations, and innovative programming across a broad repertoire. She made a highly acclaimed debut with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra in 2010.

Petronella Torin is an accomplished cellist known for her deep musicality and rich, expressive tone. She has performed on prestigious stages and festivals, earning praise for her compelling interpretations of both classical and contemporary works. With a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary compositions, Petronella seeks to reach audiences through her passion and commitment to music, both through her playing and through her music studio, Musik på Österlen.

Welcome to an artistic experience of classical music and creative expression for all the senses, in celebration of the feminine.

The exhibition in Ystad will be shown in my own studio with gallery.
It presents a selection of paintings from my artistic practice, works that have grown through a slow, intuitive painting process where color, presence, and stillness are given space.
